Today is the perfect time to adorn the fb walls with gorgeous armfuls of beautiful zinnias, pink & white cosmos blooms, and the newly engaged Madalyn & Matthew! On one of the rainiest weeks of the year, we donned our old boots and shoes and headed out in prayer that the rain that had been a constant visitor the day before would disappear long enough to create the sweetest moment. AND IT DID.

I love being around McKenzie and Sam because they have an energy together that blends just perfectly & puts everyone around them at ease. Their engagement session was one of my absolute favorites & I have been COUNTING down the days until the day arrived to celebrate them with all of their loves. She is also one of my most creative brides... can I just take a moment to mention that McKenzie designed and created all of her own florals? Everything from the bouquets to the banners and table settings. And the backdrop... whew! Love, love, love the scenery at The White Barn in Saucier, Mississippi. Jennifer, the owner, is a dream to work with because she knows every inch of the venue and is a wonderful planner. Having access to all of these gorgeous spots made my little heart so happy. Especially the pond... you know how much I love a gorgeous boat photo. We took some fun photos of Sam fishing alongside his new bride, but I'm pretty sure McKenzie was the real catch of a lifetime. 😉
But in all seriousness, so grateful to have had this day with them and their families. ❤

Happy Mother's Day to all of you beautiful Mamas!
Whether you've been in front of my lens or simply following along throughout the years, thank you so much for being here & I hope you've had the most wonderful day!

Two decades of photographing the most incredible women alongside their most loved has brought such incredible friendships and I am most grateful for each and every one of them. Thank you all for being such an important part of my journey & allowing me to be a part of yours.

Happy Mother's Day to an incredibly beautiful lady that just welcomed her second little man into this world ~ what a beautiful time of year to start a new beginning! Aliesha knew her little man was more than ready to make his appearance & scheduled an early maternity session just in time, because he blessed this incredible family just a few days after our session... he is absolutely perfect and beautiful. I was lucky enough to begin photographing this couple as we celebrated their marriage many springs ago and watching them grow and bloom into this stunningly gorgeous family has been the biggest blessing. I can't wait to watch these two little boys become the best of friends and brothers.

The sweetest little sunshine. Evelynn was almost my birthday twin, we celebrate a day apart. We photographed her Mama's maternity photos right here on this beach in Ocean Springs, so it was only fit to honor her first birthday in the same spot. Quiet and curious with the prettiest eyes and big smile, I cannot believe she is already ONE WHOLE YEAR old. Love her to pieces!
I mayyyy have had a little issue picking just a few from the session, but oh my gosh, there are so many. She's a natural.

IN TEARS. Y'all, I am a weepy mess finishing up these images today. When I say I have watched these sweet babies grow from the beginning... I mean, the beginning. Mama carried them in the most beautiful, glowing way every time she created one of these perfect faces and it spilled right into their little personalities. I don't know anything more rewarding as a photographer than building a friendship with families that mean the world to you, in the spaces and locations that mean the most to them.
There's nothing like creating images where you feel most comfortable.

Tanner & Lavonna's wedding day! With the sweetest vows, a beautiful countryside, so many happy tears & a branding ceremony... meticulous planning on everyone's part. Looking up during the ceremony, I noticed that the moon was directly opposite the sun in the sky and everything made so much sense. These two complement each other in so many ways, and love as intensely as the sun and the moon do. So many close friends and family showed up to spend the entire day with these two, not only the ceremony and reception, which speaks volumes to who these two are as individuals as well as a couple. When the guests are arriving with warm smiles, you can always tell the bride and groom are well loved. Children's laughter echoed throughout the lawn as they played all morning, it was the sweetest. I've had the pleasure of knowing these two for long enough to know how genuine and big their hearts are & it was no surprise that the lawn and barn were absolutely full of their loved ones cheering them on throughout their day.
These two may have won me over years ago, but they sealed the deal when they built the groom's cake table from bundt cakes.
Love you both dearly, Prissy and Tanner! So thankful for you!
