Throwback to a few of my favorite photos. I may be a bit of a knuckle dragger who is also a gigantic dork, but I know that the outdoors is what puts the lightning in me bones. Those I am close with are well versed in how much of a curmudgeon I can become if stuck indoors and/or I can’t get my wiggles out. This is a the main reason why I started going it alone (like a rebel) on drives, motorcycle and pony rides through the mountains, camping, as well as hiking trips. I couldn’t do things I love only once or twice a year, just so I would not have to go solo. Yeah, it is definitely an adjustment; however, it is gods damn worth it. But, I admittedly don’t know s**t about fu #*. So be careful taking any advice from the likes of me.

Throwback to January 5, 2022 (one year ago today). This bear cub has grown monstrous in that time, which is delightful. I informed him that he is now too big to be a lap sleeper, to which he responded: “Bear Cub don’t play no s**t, bear cub ain’t never been about that, ain’t never been about playing no s**t.” Needless to say, he crushes me with cuddles and I don’t back talk.

Festive as f**k (pardon my French). I still need to write Brutus’ AKA Bear Cub’s name on his stocking. Alas, I am a slacker. Also, he enjoys hogging the couch out in the garage in what I like to call the “That 70’s Show” area. If you watched that show, you get it. . . Anyways, Happy Christmas and/or Merry Holidays to everyone. To quote a friend I greatly respect “light and love to you all.”

New tattoo on my leg. Thank you for your great work. . . I know, if you shined a light on my impossibly white legs you could legitimately blind folks. If you ever see me in bum dangler shorts in public, and it isn’t overcast, run, run and cover your eyes. Safety first.

Covered some ground out Boulder City, NV way. Got some excellent lake views, as well as a great look at the Vegas valley. If you ever find yourself near Boulder City be sure to hike on some of the wonderful trails, but also hit the A&W for a frosty root beer. . . and you may as well throw in some chili cheese fries too. I don’t make the rules.

I can’t get over how glorious and beautiful it was in and around Monroe. Also, Richfield is just up the road a bit and they have a delightful spot known as the Little Wonder Cafe. Glorious scenery + tasty vittles = Lightning in me bones.
