I’ve been waiting all day to get these off the camera and onto my computer. I happened to stop and see a Bird sitting on a branch, when I looked again I realized it was an owl. I grabbed my camera and snapped a few pics before it flew down onto the ground. They were pretty dark, but I was just happy to see an owl. Then it came back up and flew to a spot with some better lighting and I started snapping some more pics, about the 4th picture in I realized he brought a friend to join the photo shoot. I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever get this opportunity again but I am so glad it happened.

As I drove through Yellowstone recently this skinny bison came stumbling up to the road and caught my eye. I snapped a few pics of her and noticed you could really see her hip bones and she had a harsh limp. I don’t know what experiences she’s had or how much time she has left in this life but I’m glad I got to cross her path before she goes. I also liked the leaf she chose to wear that day.
