I have been strolling down memory lane while walking the dog each morning. Almost every weekday morning for the past 5 years, my youngest and I (and my oldest when she wasn't in school) would walk the dog. Rain or shine, stroller or baby carrier or slowly toddling, we would always get out for a little fresh air. In just a few short weeks, it will be just me walking and as relaxing as that will be, I also know I will miss those little walks as chaotic as they could be (and trust me, it was not always sunshine and rain boots!).

I love this spot this time of year with all the wildflowers! So many special days in August for our family. I’m always curious - does your family have a month or two that seem to have more special days (birthdays/anniversaries) than other months?

Are you wondering who a mini session is for? It is for anyone -- doesn't have to be a family. Couples, engagement, headshots, etc. I recommend longer (60 minute) sessions for big families, reserved kids, or if you want to choose your own location/receive more pictures. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about what type of session you want to book!

We had some flooding in my town on Tuesday, so I'm just over here hoping for a cool, dry, and colorful fall!

It's been a while! Hope you all have been doing well! How did everyone fare this winter?
Our family loves winter hikes, especially with snow and ice and felt adequately prepared this winter, so I was a bit bummed with the very little snow we got! I did develop a sourdough starter recently, so I have been baking up a storm. I also got to see this lovely lady and get some headshots for her dance competition! Good luck, V!!
