"Memorial Day sunrise 2023"

Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇲
I was very fortunate to get a great sunrise this morning at 5:14am. As I stood here watching it slowly rise above the mountains and Lake Winnipesaukee, I noticed that no one else was out watching it. It was a very peaceful few minutes, just me, the lake, and the sunrise.

I took this back in the summer of 2019 during my first ever visit to The World Trade Center site. With all of the hustle and bustle of New York City, it's eery quite down at Ground Zero. May we continue to never forgot that day and all of the sacrifices that so many brave individuals made.

"Lighting strike" (UNEDITED)

Earlier tonight we had a very intense thunderstorm roll through. I was watching it for a few minutes at the front door and listening to the neighbor's kids react to the sky lighting up. After a few minutes I decided to take a snapchat video of the storm. Needless to say, I was not expecting to capture a single lighting strike dead center to where I was filming. This picture is an UNEDITED screenshot of a single frame from my video!

Shaw's Cove Bridge

Shaw's Cove Bridge is located in New London, Connecticut between Shaw's Cove and the Thames River. It's a swing bridge that opens up for any boats that need to get in or out of the cove. The majority of the trains that use the bridge are Amtrak.

I took this the other week while enjoying a long weekend away with the family, my sister in law, and her boyfriend. The kids were in bed and the adults were on their way to bed when I decided to go sit on the deck and enjoy the nighttime views. I sat outside for at least an hour and it was perfect. I set up the camera on the tripod and took some really nice long exposure shots. During that time not a single train went by nor did any boats return to the cove. It really felt like I was the only one taking in this view.

Happy Pride month! 🏳️‍🌈

I want to wish a Happy Pride month to everyone in the LGBTQ+ community, especially to my family and friends who celebrate. This Rainbow Street is located in downtown Reykjavík, Iceland and it's just a short walk from the Hallgrimskirkja church which is visible in the picture.

Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸

On this Memorial Day we should all pause to honor and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. They will never be forgotten. So thank you to everyone, past, present and future that have served for our country. This display of flags (over 37,000 of them) are from two years ago when we visited the Boston Public Garden, and it's truly a sight to to take in.

Happy Mother's Day!
We went for a nice walk today at Great Brook Farm State Park. We've never been before, but they have miles of trails plus a working farm! During our walk, we saw a Momma goose and her four little goslings! The Dadda goose was just ahead of them and out of this picture. I thought it was perfect to see these little baby goslings on mother's day!
