Per google, Nassau is the capital and largest city of the Bahamas, located on New Providence Island, and serves as the country's political and commercial hub, known for its rich history as a pirate haven and its modern tourism, featuring resorts, beaches like Cable Beach, historic sites such as Fort Charlotte, and vibrant culture.
Here we walked around, visited the World Famous Straw Market, the Queens Staircase, and wanderd around the port area. The Queens Stairs was beautiful and my favorite place on this stop.

Niagara Falls.
Per google Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls—Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls—located on the border of the U.S. (New York) and Canada (Ontario). Formed by the Niagara River, which drains four of the Great Lakes, it's famous for its immense volume of water, with Horseshoe Falls being the largest and most iconic. The falls are a major tourist attraction, offering views and boat tours like the Maid of the Mist, and are also a significant source of hydroelectric power.

Florida Everglades. Sadly we only saw a little bit of this beautiful area. Even in the little bit, we saw gators, birds, lizards, and more.

The Everglades is a vast subtropical wetland ecosystem in South Florida, known as a "river of grass" that flows slowly from Lake Okeechobee south to Florida Bay. This unique "sheet flow" system, once covering much more of the state, is characterized by sawgrass marshes, cypress swamps, and mangroves, supporting diverse wildlife like alligators, manatees, and numerous bird species. It's a critical part of Florida's water supply, but has faced significant degradation from development, leading to major restoration efforts like the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP).

I do hope to go back and explore more of this vast area!

Back in November we decided to check out the Florida Keys. We flew down and rented a convertible since we were heading over the 7 mile bridge. What better way (other than a motorcycle) to go over that bridge or by the beaches than with the top down. We spent most of our time on Key West.

Key West is the southernmost city in the contiguous U.S., known for its unique blend of history, vibrant nightlife, and outdoor activities, all set against a backdrop of pastel-colored, conch-style architecture. Located at the end of the Florida Keys, it's famous for its lively Duval Street, historic sites like the Ernest Hemingway Home, and water sports such as snorkeling and diving, with attractions for all ages.

We did enjoy checking out the history, Duval St, beaches, the most Southern tip, a fish pedicure, and soo much good food, especially Key Lime! The roosters and chickens roamed the streets keeping everyone in line 🤣
