As a little girl, I began taking pictures of the animals on our family farm in Ohio. I loved making everyone laugh by capturing the personalities of newborn kittens and pigs playing in the mud. This fascination in photography carried with me through college where I bought my first manual 35mm camera with a 200mm telephoto lens. After graduation, a move to Wyoming opened up a new door in photograph

y. My career led me to such places as Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and the National Elk Refuge where there were more photo opportunities than I ever dreamed possible. Wyoming has also been a great location for me to travel to many other landscapes in the West. My fascination with our beautiful planet and all the living things on it is captured in every image. Each picture that I take is with a "love for nature" that shines wherever they are displayed.

Hello friends! Yes, I’m still alive. Happy 4th! Our dear Mother Earth put on quite the light show last night. I decided to head to one of my favorite locations in the Flathead for reflections, Echo Lake! These are a few of my favorites. Last night, I played with White Balance. The pink/ green colors are from a higher K-value (5,000) and the teal/purple are a lower K-value (3,500) It was fun. You’ll have to try it sometime.

Limited Edition Queen of the Tetons -399 hoodies. This design was created by Amy Collett who lived in the Jackson area for 24 years as a wildlife biologist and outdoor educator. She photographed 399 for the first time in 2007 when her love for 399 began.

This photo of 399 was taken in 2022 right before she sent off the Quads. The Aurora photo was taken in April of 2023.

These super soft hoodies were printed in the US and they run slightly big. 10% of the sales will go to the Jackson Hole Bear Solutions to help raise funding for bear resistant trash cans to reduce human-bear conflicts in Teton County, Wyoming.!

It's been a while! I'm still here and taking photos every chance I get.

Mountain Vibes Bigfork is doing great and my photography was the biggest selling item in my shop for 2025! Whoo Hooo!

I am in the process of changing my photography name over to "Amy Collett Photography". I will slowly be updating my website this winter. And, you will be able to order and purchase photos directly from the new site. I am so excited to be taking this step.
