Goeddel Gallery It’s about having the patience, faith and passion to capture honest moments of life in the wild.

Cindy Goeddel is a professional photographer, naturalist, and Photography guide with a fascination for the wonders that abound in Yellowstone National Park. A Lifelong Wilderness Enthusiast, backpacker and backcountry skier, Cindy leads photography tours in Yellowstone National Park and, as an Adobe Certified Expert, is able to provide the ultimate in digital asset management and workflow training using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Her Images are Published in National Wildlife, Wyoming Wildlife, Montana Outdoors, Montana Quarterly, Montana Magazine, Greater Yellowstone Advocate and many other publications. Her fine art photographs are in numerous private, non-profit and academic collections. She has been a Canon guest lecturer and is an instructor with the Yellowstone Association Institute.

Most of my workshops through 2028 are sold out. Only three have space.

2027 Katmai Coast — 4 spaces
Brown bears along the Katmai Coast, with six nights aboard our private yacht plus Kodiak marine wildlife.

2028 Mashatu, Botswana — 3 spaces
Elephants, leopards, lions, cheetahs and prolific birdlife, timed for the yellow devil’s-thorn bloom.

2028 Ultimate Pantanal, Brazil — 1 space
Nineteen days through three distinct ecosystems, including five prime days photographing Jaguars and Giant Otters from private skiffs at Porto Jofre.

I keep the groups small, and I’m in the field photographing beside you—working on behavior, timing and stronger image-making as opportunities unfold.

At a minus low tide, we traveled by charter boat from Kodiak Island for about an hour in search of silver foxes. We found seven foxes on the black gravel shore digging for candlefish. Exposing the candlefish was only half the battle—the skinny, slippery fish were challenging for the foxes to pin down. One fox caught a dozen or more while we photographed the action.

The Kodiak portion of this expedition is far more than a stop on the way to Katmai. It features a marine wildlife tour and opportunities to photograph silver foxes, sea otters, puffins, whales and Steller sea lions before heading to the Katmai coast for brown bears.

Only a few spaces remain for 2027—message me ALASKA for the itinerary and current availability.

Tomorrow I head back to the Kodiak and the Katmai Coast.

This isn’t roadside wildlife. It is tides, skiffs, long days, shifting weather, and a yacht that lets us move with the bears.

Brown bears, cubs, salmon, glaciers, wild shoreline — and the access that makes the images possible.
