When I was about 9 and my brother around 8, my mom and dad welcomed us into their home. There had been a lot of trauma before that moment and healing doesn't magically begin just because the environment changes. Sometimes the pain and patterns are already branded into you.

Statistically we shouldn't be here, but we are not apart of the statistic just proof that cycles can be broken. Even through the parts of my story where I wanted to stop writing something greater than me saw fit to keep giving me new Chapters๐Ÿค
