With deepest gratitude and sorrow, I dedicate my presence at the Clio Art Fair in New York City this week to the life, vision, and legacy of Robert Redford. Through my film A Journey to Sundance, I had the privilege of honoring his extraordinary impact on independent cinema, and I remain profoundly shaped by his courage, creativity, and commitment to truth in art. www.ajourneytosundance.com

I was especially looking forward to seeing you again, Robert, at the upcoming “The Way of the Rain – Hope for Earth – A Symphony for our Planet” event in France on October 11th. This gathering will carry even more weight now, as we join in spirit to honor the mission you so tirelessly championed.

To Sibylle, I will never forget meeting you during The Alternative Light in 2012, and the warmth and inspiration you brought to that experience. Your partnership with Robert has been a beacon of creativity and hope for so many of us.

After graduating from “THE LOS ANGELES FILM SCHOOL” in 2003, where I studied directing, screenwriting, producing and editing, I set off to film ‘A JOURNEY TO SUNDANCE’, my first feature documentary film about the Sundance Film Festival and
independent filmmaking, starting with my own struggle to finish this film. The entire journey took a total of 13 years to finish! I was the Producer, Director, Composer, Editor and On- Camera Host/Interviewer in the film. In 2022, it was released Worldwide:

MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE COLLAGE

This is a very special (Limited Edition) tribute collage I created after the King of Pop, passed away.

Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 - June 25, 2009) was an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, actor, and philanthropist. Called the "King of Pop", his contributions to music, dance, and fashion along with his publicized personal life made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades.

Michael Jackson died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication at his home on North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. After a call was placed to 9-1-1 at 12:21 p.m., Jackson was treated by paramedics at the scene and was later pronounced dead at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. On the eve of Jackson's 51st birthday, the Los Angeles County Coroner concluded that his death was a homicide.

Shortly before his death, Jackson had reportedly been administered propofol and two anti-anxiety benzodiazepines, lorazepam and midazolam in his home. His personal physician was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 and served a two-year prison sentence.
