I’ve been thinking about this engagement session in Roxbury, and I can’t believe the wedding almost a month away. Time is a thief- especially in summer. Everything feels all@slow and dreamy - but suddenly September is around the corner. Some people call August the long goodbye to summer. But honestly September weddings are the most beautiful here in Connecticut. Not too hot, not rainy, and still lush and green.

I had the privilege of capturing a surprise proposal last weekend. It was beautifully executed by the groom and his mother - and every detail was exactly as the planed : a picnic set up right by the lake-sunset on lake Waramaug, champagne 🍾 and a lot of of tears of joy.
