Intimate portraiture is different for everyone. It doesn’t have to mean “unclothed” and it doesn’t have to be a certain style. What’s important is that you see the sides of you that make you feel beautiful, and present, and unapologetic. One of the biggest gifts I ever gave myself was an intimate session and it changed me. I now feel more confident, sexy, and powerful. If you’re interested in exploring a session like this with me, just reach out.

Alison drove from New York to my studio in Maine for new headshots. The plan was to have a basic personal branding session. Instead, what transpired was an afternoon of creating gorgeous artwork. This is just one of the images I fell in love with. Straight out of camera was great, but a few tweaks in and it became stellar.

I like when things are easy. I had a creative play day yesterday with and made all sorts of art. This shot was fine right out of the camera ( H2S) but a quick stop in and then applying a custom look I created in , I had this fully edited in under five minutes. I love that these tools allow me to create with more freedom and finally produce the types of images I see in my head. All lighting by

“I swear, if anyone ruins my weekend…..”

I love this shot that my friend Josh () captured while he was creating the assets for the 940 Pro product launch earlier this year. Having a pro range on my property made it easy. Josh is a great friend and spectacular photographer. I’m always grateful for the community of creatives I get to be a part of. (And yes, that 940 is an amazing tool)

Amelia told me she wanted to bring her entire family in to be photographed, and while she wanted a lot of casual looks, they wanted one of the looks to be more luxurious, and I knew exactly what to do. Overall we spent about 7 hours in the studio, with a 20-30 minute session for each individual, then every possible duo combination, and then the family in full. It was a lot of work for everyone, but the results speak for themselves. Your family is art, and deserves to be seen like it!

The Long Shift: a worker in a lumber mill in Maine takes a breather as he waits for the production line to restart. I was lucky to be able to tour the sawmill in Bethel recently, giving me a whole new insight to the lumber business, the backbone of Maine’s economy and a pillar of its heritage.
