Every year, I hear the same thing from parents:
"We’ll do family photos next year—when the kids are a little older, when life slows down, when everything feels a little more in order."
But here’s the truth I’ve learned after nearly 20 years behind the lens: life is never going to be quiet, predictable, or perfectly scripted. And that’s where the real beauty is.
You don't need your kids to sit stiffly with forced smiles. You don't need everything to go according to plan. My job isn't to stage an artificial reality—it's to capture the genuine connection, the laughter, the silly in-between moments, and the way your family looks and feels right now.
Before you know it, another season passes, the kids are a year older, and this chapter has moved on.
