2/1/26 Update: Let me start by saying that we truly can't ever thank everyone enough. The loss of Aiden has touched the hearts of not only our community but communities far and wide too. Aiden was so loved, and brought joy and laughter to so many. He was an amazing son, brother, friend, athlete, and so much more. He will be so missed. In 24 hours you guys came together to show your support for this wonderful family in ways I've never seen. We received loving thoughtful messages and donations from football teams, basketball teams, wrestling teams, and many businesses too. Friends and family have shown up in every way possible and thank you will never be enough. As a little update I wanted to tell everyone that a chest freezer has been purchased which will be so helpful with all of the meals coming in. We will still have the cooler outside and drop off's have been scheduled until March 9th. We will re evaluate a bit later. Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for showing up for a family, a friend, and our community. You all are appreciated more than you will ever know. ~Miranda

To all my friends in Rollinsford!!!! This is very important! Please read this and share it!!!!

Open Space for Rollinsford or a solar farm for Silver Brook Energy LLC.

You Decide

I am urging the citizens of Rollinsford who are concerned about keeping our open space, public land open for all to use, to please attend the Town Deliberative Session which will be on Saturday, January 31,2026 at 9:00 AM. We need to voice our opinions to show where we stand on these changes that will affect this town for many years to come.

I also want to inform the citizens that the select board has submitted a warrant article to be voted on by the voters on March 10, 2026, that if passed would enter the town of Rollinsford into a 30 year lease agreement with Silver Brook Energy LLC. to construct a solar farm on the town 34 acre parcel, which is adjacent to Scout land.

This warrant article on the lease was submitted after the select board was urged to submit to the planning board a warrant article to follow up on the wishes of the citizens who attended the 2011 town meeting, where a warrant article was voted on to change the zoning use on the 34 acre parcel from industrial to conservation. It passed overwhelmingly but the town and planning board never followed through on it .

Therefore, in December of 2025, a new warrant article was submitted to the planning board to change the zoning on the 34 acre field from industrial to conservation. It then went to a public hearing and will also be voted on at the March 10, 2026 voting.

So now we will be voting on two warrant articles concerning the 34 acre field.

I asked town officials if there would be a public hearing on the warrant article concerning the leasing of the field and I was told that it was not required by law because it is a lease agreement. I find this pretty concerning seeing that we have public hearings on everything like the fees at the transfer station but when it comes to signing away a piece of our town land to an outside concern it’s not important enough for everyone to hear the facts.

Once again I am urging all of you to attend the deliberative session.

If you went to Somersworth and played football you may love this episode! I’m so proud of Jacob for the time he puts into this podcast and interviewing coaches that he looks up to. He truly believes that we can learn so much from other coaches and he is a true student of the game which makes me so proud! When Jacob was little there was one thing I knew for sure- his passion for football would eventually lead to coaching! I knew when he was in second grade he would follow his dream of coaching someday. To see him coaching and chasing this dream of podcasting with so many amazing people in the football world is exciting for a mother to watch! To think he started this podcast the year of Covid when he was in high school, and is still doing it and loving it is amazing! I love you and am proud of you! ♥️💪🏻
