When I was 13 I took classes at the local art center for black and white photography and film development. I was always obsessed with photography but developing my own film became a new fascination. With my roots in black and white film, it’s about time I start sharing some moments I’ve captured in black and white here! So often I photograph in colorful gardens and lush natural spaces and I love letting the joyful colors shine through in my wedding work but let us take a moment to appreciate the timeless elegance of black and white imagery from Hannah and Cody’s wedding which was one for the books! I loved being a part of your perfect day H+C! And what fun it was to ride in the Rolls Royce with you two! 🖤

I was so incredibly excited for Erin & Aidan’s wedding at and it did not disappoint! I love botanical gardens as wedding venues because their greenhouses are filled with lush plants and flowers which make for an absolutely beautiful setting and the natural light floods in from every angle illuminating everyone in such a flattering way. Greenhouses are also the ideal place to take photos when the rain forces us “indoors”!

That’s one reason I loved this wedding but even more importantly Erin and Aidan have that kind of love that is touching to witness and so inspiring. Not to mention, Erin’s mom is a professional photographer and their family truly appreciates the value of capturing memories together so working with them was absolutely wonderful!! Congrats Erin & Aidan, you are such a lovely couple! 🤍 Thank you for everything!

I also have to give a shoutout to the amazing Shannon of She was one of the best wedding planners/coordinators I’ve ever worked with and you should definitely hire her!

P.S. I would love to photograph more weddings at the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center so if you’re getting married there reach out to me! Another favorite botanic garden of mine is the one in my neighborhood that I’m a member at and that’s The New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill I just LOVE photographing weddings, elopement’s and engagement sessions there!! 🥰

We got a sneak peek at the engagement photos a dear friend snapped for us the other day! She captured so many beautiful moments for us, and we couldn’t love them more.
For a few years now our lovely and talented friend has been trying to set up a time for us to get in front of her camera and due to scheduling difficulties, or the pond never freezing for our ice skating shoot, or getting rained out earlier this spring, we just never made it happen until now! The timing worked out perfectly though because I got to bring along a bouquet of my own dahlias and she got to include her vintage wagoneer and in the end we made some absolutely beautiful memories together in this perfectly sun-drenched field.
We love these so much and can’t thank you enough for taking time out of your busy season to capture our love.
you’re the best!

I love an intimate wedding like Jenny and Joe’s. They invited only their immediate family to their garden ceremony led by Jenny’s sister in the at the Arnold Arboretum and then they met their extended families and closest friends for dinner at SRV, a cozy restaurant in Cambridge. It was absolutely perfect and here are some of my favorite moments I captured on their day.
