This was such an incredible Big Sur engagement session. 🌅✨

You never know what Big Sur is going to give you when it comes to weather, but somehow it always ends up being beautiful. This evening gave us the most unreal light, an amazing sunset, and the perfect backdrop for celebrating these two.

Feeling so grateful to photograph love stories in places like this. 🤍

This couple did something incredible for their wedding day. They spent three full days in Yosemite.
The first day it was just the two of them. We explored the park, they said, private vows, and they had those intimate special moments alone together.
The next day, we met up with some friends in the park where they had a pizza picnic in a beautiful valley.
And the third day, they had a full on wedding. At Yosemite Autocamp, they had a full ceremony and reception with all of their closest friends and family!
This couple really got the best of both worlds. The small intimate, Elopement and the big wedding! And it was perfect!

Such a perfect drizzly San Francisco morning before the start of their City Hall ceremony. The park was blooming, the light was perfect, and it felt like the perfect start to an incredible day together.

Getting married at San Francisco City Hall is already so iconic and beautiful on its own, but one of my favorite things about it is how many stunning locations are nearby to add even more variety and story to your gallery. From blooming gardens, to cozy city streets, to ocean views and cliffs, there are so many ways to make your wedding photos feel uniquely like your day in this beautiful city.

And honestly, a little rain in San Francisco just makes everything feel even more romantic!

There’s just something about San Francisco City Hall.

I shoot here all the time, and somehow it never feels the same twice. Every couple brings their own energy, their own story, their own little moments that make the day feel completely unique.

It’s always intimate. Always beautiful. Always a little bit magic.

And honestly… I don’t think that will ever get old.

This Yosemite elopement was truly unreal! I’ve photographed in Yosemite so many times and witnessed some absolutely incredible moments in this park, but this day felt extra special. The weather was perfect, the waterfall was absolutely raging, the park was surprisingly empty, and then a rainbow appeared!! 🌈

Yosemite is hands down my most photographed national park and still one of my absolute favorites. Every single elopement here feels completely different and magical in its own way.

One of my favorite parts of helping couples plan their Yosemite elopement is creating a day that feels intentional and unique to them. I even put together a full Yosemite guide with location ideas, places to stay, vendor recommendations, timeline help, and so much more to help make planning easier and way less overwhelming.

This Redwood Forest micro wedding was definitely one to remember. On a drizzly day in March, up at the very top of California in this absolutely massive redwood grove, this hilarious couple said their vows surrounded by the trees. Afterwards, we explored the forest with the bride kicking off her shoes and running around barefoot like an absolute forest fairy.

From there, we headed back to their Airbnb to grab their cats, my first time ever seeing hairless cats in real life! They took portraits with their little babies before joining all of their closest friends and family back at the house.

The night ended with a private chef cooking everyone an incredible dinner while they all gathered around one long table together. Such an intimate, fun, and beautiful day from start to finish.
