Happy Fourth of July to everyone! And Happy 250th to America! This is an old image with a new edit taken at a 2020 Shelley Paulson Photography equine photography retreat out in Minnesota. I learned so much here and am forever grateful to Shelley's guidance, care, and expertise. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had, and hopefully I can get to another one again in the future.

I was out on a recent photo shoot a couple of weekends ago. The wind was crazy, but we managed some nice shots in between wind gusts & clouds. A quiet moment with Camryn & Lil Bit. Shot KeepStables LLC. The artwork on the silo is so cool and I like to incorporate it into the session when I am at this farm.

Photo finish: Went to Laurel Racetrack today. I haven’t been back here in a really long time. It was a nice day and I loved photographing the races. I hope to get back before they shut it down completely. These three were in a battle for second place . The middle horse was 2nd, the horse on the rail 3rd, and 6 horse was 4th. Exciting!

Gypsy Vanner Stallion taken during a Shelley Paulson Photography retreat in Minnesota a couple years ago. Until this week, I have never been as cold as I was during this photo session. I am looking forward to hopefully warmer temperatures and please make the wind stop!!
