Dear beautiful friends and clients,

After a lot of thought and reflection, I’ve made the most difficult decision to step away from my photography business to focus on my health. This is hopefully not a goodbye forever — just a necessary pause for now.

If you have a session or event already scheduled with me, please know that I am still fully committed to you and so excited to create with you this year!! I am, however, no longer taking on new bookings at this time.

I am endlessly grateful for the memories we’ve made together. Thank you for being such a meaningful part of my journey. I hope to pick up my camera professionally again when the time is right. Until then, I’m sending love and gratitude to you all. 🫶🏼

I had the beautiful honor to photograph my sweet friend Kim’s wedding this weekend! 🥹

After photographing weddings for 8 years now, I can tell you that no matter the location or the amount of guests attending; your wedding will be beautiful.

It is not the flowers, the catering, the perfectly placed linens or even the dress you choose that determines the best wedding day, it is simply the love you have for each other.

Adrienne & Damien’s wedding in the beautiful Key West, Florida! This destination wedding was a DREAM 🌴

Can you imagine getting married in the southernmost point of the continental U.S.?! 👏🏼

So good. Plus these guys took Kyle and I deep sea fishing and we caught mahi mahi and brought it straight from the boat to a restaurant and had it for dinner! The best experience!

DAY 1: the letter A

As a photographer for almost 8 years now 😱 I have SO many photos to share that I get overwhelmed trying to decide what to post on here!

So I have decided that I’m going to post everyday from a photo session or wedding in alphabetical order in my portfolio!

For day one, I’m sharing Abby and Chad from their engagement session two years ago! This session was a blast, photographed in downtown Fayetteville Arkansas home of the Razorbacks!

They are now two years into their marriage with the most beautiful little gal who I got to meet this fall for their family pictures! 🥹

What would you tell your younger self if he/she was right in front of you right now?

There are so many things I can think of, but one would definitely be to take more time on picking a photographer for my wedding. I definitely went with the cheapest and didn’t even take the time to look at their past weddings or decide if their work aligned with my vision. 😅

One of the biggest motivators for becoming a wedding photographer was to give my clients a better experience than I had!

I ask myself, “if this was my wedding, what photos would I wish my photographer took?”

Like this photo of the bride walking and her shoes showing would be a photo I would’ve loved to have! To some it may be just a photo, but to me this tells a story and attaches emotion to your photo gallery!
