After months of planning, The Santa Experience opens for registration tomorrow, and I am SO ready to see who will be joining us this year!

These are just a few of my favorites from last year that I haven’t shared yet, and looking through them has me ridiculously excited to see what this year brings.

These are the stories they’ll still be talking about on the way home.

Santa arrives with a lifetime of stories tucked into his pockets … like the whistle made from one of Rudolph’s very first antlers. And, if you’re lucky, he might even let you touch it. 🤍

These are the little details I love most about The Santa Experience. There’s no rushing through a checklist of poses. There’s time to listen. To wonder. To ask questions. To hear about life at the North Pole and discover the treasures Santa has collected along the way.

Because the magic isn’t just in the photographs.

It’s in the few uninterrupted minutes when, to your child, Santa is completely, wonderfully real. 🎅🏻

Blink and you’ll miss it: somehow, five years have passed and these are just a few of the children who have grown up visiting Santa each year.

Over five years, so many of these children have gone from nervous (sometimes terrified 😅) babies and toddlers to children who run into Santa’s arms, excited to finally see him again.

Somewhere along the way, what started as a fun Christmas tradition became a record of their childhood.

It’s such a joy to watch the same children come back year after year and seeing them grow up.

Because it really does happen this fast.

This is your sign that maternity photos don’t have to feel like maternity photos. Intimate, feminine, and focused just as much on you as the baby you’re growing.

This is what documenting a legacy looks like.

We didn’t create it all at once. It grew over time, just like their family did.

There are maternity portraits from both pregnancies, newborn photos of each of their boys, six month milestones, and first birthdays. Eight different seasons of their family’s story, collected over the years and designed to live together in one beautiful gallery.

You don’t need to fill every wall after one session. In fact, I encourage you not to. Instead, we start with the photographs you love now, plan for where future pieces might go, and continue building onto it as your children grow.

Eventually, what started as a few beautiful photographs becomes a visual history of your family and your favorite wall in your home.
