“I don’t know if I want maternity photos… maybe we’ll just wait until baby is here.”

I hear some version of that almost every week.

Usually it means:
“I don’t feel comfortable in my body.”
“I don’t know what to wear.”
“I’m exhausted.”
“I want to remember this season, but I don’t feel beautiful in it.”

The truth is, almost nobody walks into my studio already feeling fully confident in front of the camera.

That’s why the experience is designed the way it is.

The wardrobe, hair and makeup, posing, lighting, guidance… you don’t have to know how to do any of it.

You just have to show up.
I’ll take care of the rest.

I have photographed every major milestone in this family’s life since they got engaged.

Every pregnancy, every new baby, every first birthday… I’ve been there to watch their family grow.

Every time I see them, wild to see how much has changed. In what feels like no time at all, they’re no longer babies… they’re elementary aged children with their own personalities and opinions.

What I’ve created for them is a complete record of their family in each season of life. It’s not just a handful of photos from the big moments, it’s something that tells the whole story of childhood.

Something they’ll be able to look back on someday and feel like they didn’t miss a thing.

If the idea of planning your newborn session sounds overwhelming right now… you’re not alone.

Around here, we don’t force perfect smiles or expect children to sit still. Instead, they are allowed to move, play, giggle, and just be kids. This is the result: beautiful images that remind you of exactly who they are.
