Pure joy. Completely at ease when with each other. The comfort of laughing with, and at, something they do.

They opted for a more “date night” feel to their engagement shoot. They were more casual personality and wanted to reflect that. It’s also where he proposed and I got to hear that story. It was all about them, their story, their love, and that’s how it should always be.

“We aren’t the biggest fans of pictures. We will definitely need help not looking awkward.”

I hear it often, and every time I say, “I hear you! I’ll make sure you don’t look awkward and let’s just have some fun.”

And you know what? They never looked awkward. They danced, laughed, watched the sunset, and chatted about the worst country song they’ve heard lately.
