Familiar Roads
This is the road that leads to the Saline River access point at Lyle Park. Growing up, I lived in a subdivision that branched off of it. The park’s changed a bit since my family moved there, but it still feels like a piece of home.

We only got to see the seaplane base at AirVenture for a little bit, but totally worth it! Very chill compared to the main show, still saw planes come and go, and got to talk cameras with other photographers.

Last year, we went on a trip to the Mighty 5 with the first stop being in Canyonlands. When we left for this trip, the government had shut down the day before. Thankfully, the state of Utah kept a majority of the national parks open bare minimum staff. Still busy, but not as busy as usual.

End of an era
If you’re from Russellville, went to school there, or just passed through on a trip, more than likely you stopped and ate at Feltner’s Whatta-Burger (not the same as the Texas chain) right across from ATU. One of the best stories I heard while I was there on their last day was from a couple who said they met there while in school, started dating, and are now married. This staple will for sure be missed!
