WL Photography is holding a 2/3 day fundraiser to help a family have a proper memorial day send off as a husband leaves directly after for deployment. What started as simply asking for a picture because they did not have one family picture, I was moved by him leaving his wife and three daughters and knew I was meant to help make this transition something more than fear and sadness. The more we talked I learned she had just finished a battle with chemotherapy and was simply praising the Lord she was still here to see her husband and daughters! Ive made the decision to give them all I can. While we will be doing many photoshoots with surprises throughout the day, we have our partner stylist kristy, some help from our crew. And other volunteers. But we are still very short. We still lack items for photoshoot, equipment, ice and drinks (it'll be hot), and being memorial day weekend and the sacrifice everyone of being there and the family, we would like to feed barbque and feed those giving their time!! All that being said, if you personal feel it in your heart to give or maybe your company, never a bad time to help someone fighting to make sure we always get to barbeque and celebrate on memorial day!
