So happy to be apart of this✨😍

This was a very special moment for a truly deserving beauty this past weekend ❤️

We had one of those weekends… the kind filled with nonstop customers, custom fittings, yes to the dress moments, and all the emotions that come with them. I took a little time to unplug with my family the past 24 hours,but I just couldn’t wait any longer to share this one.

This story runs deeper than what you see in this photo…

This beautiful young lady came in months ago .. early, excited, and ready, finding the dress for her senior prom. A moment made even more special by a family who has supported and cheered us on for years. 🥹

Then, the unexpected happened… a tragic house fire took everything.

While materials can be replaced, the weight of starting over is something no family should have to carry alone. But our community… showed up in the most incredible way. ❤️

When I was contacted by Sarah, owner of SE Photography - Maine and asked if we could help get her back into the exact dress she fell in love with, there was no question. We were honored to help with all her prom needs 💃💕

We found it. The same dress and scored the perfect fit.

We worked with her mom & family to bring her back in under the impression she was starting over… she had no idea what was waiting for her.

And then… the moment.

The realization. The tears. The emotion.

Because you see… this is never just about a dress.
It’s about confidence.
It’s about feeling whole again.
It’s about moments that truly can’t be put into words.

Standing there, holding that dress, watching it all unfold… I had tears right along with her.

This is exactly why we do what we do. 💕

She thought it was just a family photoshoot… 💍👀

Meanwhile, I’ve been sitting on this secret for WEEKS and it was killing me 😅

When I tell you this was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to keep quiet… I mean it.

The entire session, I was shaking behind the camera, heart racing, trying to act normal like I wasn’t about to witness one of the biggest moments of their lives. And the second it started happening… instant tears 🥹

THIS is why I love what I do. Not just the photos—but the moments. The real, raw, once-in-a-lifetime memories that you can never recreate.

Being part of Riley & Noah’s journey has been so special to me… from their gender reveal, baby shower, newborn session, Lakelyn’s first birthday… and now THIS 💍

Full circle moments like this don’t happen often—and I don’t take a single second of it for granted.

I am so unbelievably happy for you both. Thank you for trusting me to capture it all. Love you guys 🤍

I’m Sarah — the face behind the lens, the one capturing the moments you didn’t realize you’d miss someday.

I’m a mom to two amazing (and very busy) boys, Chase and Blake. We live in Benton with my boyfriend Kris and our two dogs, Nala & Buck.

Our life? It’s loud, busy, and revolves around sports.
Hockey rinks from August to March, road trips, early mornings, late nights… and then straight into lacrosse season. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

And somewhere in the middle of all that… this business was built.

Because I know firsthand how fast it all goes.
The games. The laughs. The phases. The little in-between moments you wish you could freeze.

That’s what I do.

In 2019, I took a chance on something I loved — and turned it into what SE Photography is today. I started with nothing. No following, no big plan… just a camera and a passion.

Now? We’re over 1.3K strong — and growing with the most incredible community.😊

I work full time at Maine General during the week… and spend my weekends doing what fills my cup — capturing your memories.

This isn’t just a side job.
This is something I’ve built with heart, with hustle, and with a whole lot of love.
