Yesterday, I had the honor of photographing something incredibly special for a hockey mom friend who has experienced so much heartbreak this year. ❤️
Michelle recently lost both of her grandparents, Lee and Barbara, just months apart. They were her favorite people, and I know how deeply loved and missed they are.
When Michelle asked me to be there to capture their Celebration of Life, I felt truly honored. Barbara was a huge scrapbooker and always made sure there were photos documenting all the special moments and adventures throughout their lives. So, having someone there to capture the memories of the people who loved them most just felt right. 📸❤️
There wasn’t a dry eye in the gym yesterday as family and friends shared stories, memories, laughter, and tears about Lee and Barbara. It was such a beautiful reflection of two people who clearly meant the world to so many.
I’m so grateful I could be there to preserve these moments for Michelle and her family. Some photographs become so much more than pictures—they become pieces of a family’s history that can be held onto forever. ❤️
Rest peacefully, Lee & Barbara. Your love and legacy will live on through the people and memories you left behind. 🕊️
