Hi, I'm Jen! I started photographing dogs (and cats) at a local Humane Society in 2016. I also do paid sessions every so often.

HeARTs Speak Artist member, volunteer rescue photographer and winner of Omaha Magazine's 'Best of Omaha 2025 & 2026 Pet Photography', rabbit foster mom 🐇 & children's book author The more I photographed, the more I fell in love with it and the better I got. Continuing to donate my time and focus on finding the homeless animals their forever families is my primary goal at the moment. Here it is! The photo that helped Roxy get adopted...her beautiful flower crown! This is why I do what I do. Why I love photographing rescue animals because a good photo goes a long way. All rescue photos are 100% free!

I have a little sneak peek for y'all today. This gorgeous girl is Roxy. I did photos of her in July 2025 when she was available for adoption with Haven Animal Rescue Nebraska and since then, she's been adopted! Her family won a free mini session from me at Haven's Luminary event last month and we picked the perfect evening for photos! Roxy is a natural behind the camera and I just love her striking brown eyes. I hope to have her album ready for her family by tomorrow. Be sure to check back then to see how we reproduced the photo that made her new mom fall in love with her!

Walter is off! Foster #15 has left the building. It was bittersweet given how attached to him I was, but I also feel really great about his new family. They're going to try bonding him with their male bun, so please send them lots of good vibes.

Additionally, his new family gave us the sweetest gift! The book made me cry even more and the book ends are stinking adorable! I am so so grateful to meet such wonderful people that want to give our fosters the best homes. Walter's new one will be one of them. All the best, sweet bubbies! Foster Mom and Dad love you!!

Two more sleeps with Walter, then he's off on his foster-to-adopt trial. The hardest part of fostering is letting them go and I'm sure y'all can tell that I'm pretty attached to this one. What comforts me the most is knowing we've found an incredible family for him that is just as smitten with his cuteness as I am and they've only met him once. Lots of cuddles and lovins with him these next two days ❤️

We are so grateful for our adopters. We love seeing and hearing updates about our previous fosters. And we love when they send us gifts! Thank you Reese, Storm Cloud and Roxi for the super awesome stainless steel Rooly litter box that we'll use for our next foster! I've heard so many great things about these boxes, so I'm excited to try it out!

Hi, friends. It's Walter. You'll never believe what foster mom did to me yesterday. First, she threw me into a bubble backpack, then tossed me in the car and drove me away!! We went to some place called The Rose Theater to represent Hops + Co before the show called "Bunnicula". Then she put me in a small pen, I barely had room to move around and then...all these people came in and started petting me!! It was terrible! All I could do was sit there while foster mom smiled and talked to the people about me, how rude!!

But the worst part was when she shared MY TREATS WITH ANOTHER RABBIT!! HOW DARE SHE!!! I was sitting there starving and she just gave them away!!! I'll never forgive her. I hope my new family comes to get me soon and that they'll never put me through this again. Worst. Day. EVER.

Last night, I met up with some dear friends of mine. Mandy, Fox and Derek have two disabled dogs, Scout and Ollie, plus THREE more incredibly sweet dogs: Millie the Pug, Kane the Pouty Pittie and Kenzie the Senior girl. Somehow we managed to get all five dogs in one photo with three humans. They're such a great family and you can tell that each dog is so well loved and I'm so grateful they reached out for photos. As you can tell, aiming directly down at a dog is one of my favorite shots to take and each dog nailed theirs!!

Walter will be going on a foster-to-adopt in about a week. So, we had a photo shoot last night! He was not very cooperative, but we still got a few good ones. I'm really going to miss this little man, I've grown very fond of him. I know his future family is going to take the best care of him and I hope he's a good boy to his future bun partner, Honey Bun.
