I keep returning to this photo from years ago.
There’s something about it that I can’t quite put into words. It feels intimate… and yet I’m very clearly standing outside their little bubble, just quietly looking in.

One thing that always makes me smile… Mike and I share the exact same first dance song as these two. So every time I hear it, I think of our wedding day and theirs. They’ll always have a special place in my heart.
You think we forget but, the things your wedding photographer remembers years after, is wild!

Spent years perfecting the art of using flash so it looks like I didn’t use flash.

Finally nailed it.

And now we’re making flash look like FLASH again. 😭🤣

Anyway… catch me spending the next five years perfecting the thing I spent the last five years trying to avoid.

Photography trends are fun. 😂

(But also, can we have a tiny moment for making a brutally sunny day look like this? Because THAT is my very specific party trick and I’m not ready to give it up just yet.)

I love documenting people but you know what else I love?!?! Pretty things. Beautiful flowers. A carefully curated design that amazingly talented people put so much work into creating. I am so inspired by all of it! The way light fills a space, the colors, the flowers that were chosen… You spend so much time selecting all of it, I want you to see the beauty that you and the team created in all its glory so I will be taking LOTS of detail pictures- you never have to ask. 🤗
