Good morning from Odee and me! Well it’s been a long month with a setback and then the last two weeks I have been on an upswing. I have waited to be sure this was a trend and also a chance to get caught up on parts of my life I haven’t been able to do. My surgery was successful but two weeks after it I started having some weird symptoms that just really had me at a point of just being in bedrest unable to do much Then about two weeks ago they stopped. During this my autoimmune condition was improving, I’m beginning to think it was side effects from the infusions I got before my surgery. Now Odee and I are doing daily walks and getting ready to go on a low-key camping trip next week.
This particular health “adventure” began on June 4th, when I made a trip to the hospital and ended up spending my birthday in the hospital in critical care and discovered I had acquired an autoimmune condition. After a year of tired and failed treatments it looks like we are making progress. I won’t say I am in remission yet, but things are looking good!
I asked my hematologist if it was okay if I went camping and she told me to live my life but be careful, so we are heading out to Lava Lake next week!
