It doesn’t matter the time of year or what people might think of you, those who love fall love it with all of their heart and are already aware the craft stores are slowly turning all orange inside 🎃🍂

Fun fact! The last photo is the first ever candle photo I took. After is when I realized how much I loved setting a scene and capturing something that felt so warm & cozy.

Photography may not be my full time job, but my books are always open for creative concepts, moody portraits, and self expression sessions. These are some of my favorite photography memories. When I bought my first camera a few years ago, I wanted to shoot and learn and create and play as much as possible. Turns out most women love these things. I love this hobby and art form. I love women who are expressive and artistic and want to be captured that way. I have some fun concept shops coming soon with all of the witchy, artistic, and moody vibes.

DM me if you want to play!!

Someone said to me the other day “You’re so funny pretending it’s autumn when it just became spring.”

Cheers to all my fellow witches and ghouls who celebrate autumn & Halloween year round!

Happy Imbolc 🌦️

In an effort to be more seasonally intentional this year with recipes, photos, projects, and energy, I am enjoying learning about the Celtic Wheel of the Year.

Imbolc is the halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox usually celebrated on February 1st or 2nd. The celebration is associated with light and hope.

This evening, we are making a mega bed in the living room while a stew cooks in the oven. We will celebrate Imbolc by lighting candles, eating popcorn, and letting fresh air flow through the house until it is time to close up. This weekend, I plan on making homemade balls for little birds to snack on :)

I love the certainty the seasons bring in such an uncertain life.

Have a cozy evening my friends 🤎🙏

Four years ago, my dear friend Katie and I discovered one another’s deep love for creativity, lore, nature, and whimsy through a camera lens. This was our second shoot ever together and one of my earliest days of shooting a subject out of pure imagination and joy.

It’s something special—the early days when you are discovering your craft, your style, your ideas, and your identity as an artist. Katie has been there since the beginning with me; discussing ideas/concepts/and sharing each other’s gifts back and forth. We have had incredible success together, and shoots that went so poorly we still cackle at the memories.

Katie has always been my muse. Through camera upgrades, concepts I didn’t know how to produce on my own, and my creative journey as a whole. She has *literally* bent backwards, been naked, been in dirt, smoked many joints, climbed rocks, and one time poured baby oil on her whole body in the freezing cold for me 😂

We nerd out every time we are together, quote Twilight incessantly, and laugh so hard I forget how challenging being an adult can be sometimes.

I have loved this journey with you dear friend; it has been the anchor of so much joy.
