A new baby. A toddler finding her place. Two parents leaning into each other and figuring it all out. This season is so worth preserving.

The softness of their skin. The perfect curve of their tiny toes. The way they fit so completely in the palm of your hand.

Right now, they're small enough to hold with one arm. Their feet barely fill your hand. And you know, even in the middle of the sleepless nights, that this won't last.

One day, those little feet will run ahead of you. They'll outgrow your lap, your arms, the need to be carried everywhere. And you'll look back on this season with so much tenderness.

A newborn session captures the details you don't want to forget — the smallness, the sweetness, the overwhelming love you feel when you look at them. Not perfectly posed. Just honestly preserved.

Recently got back from Florida with a big realization: even after 22 years, I still don't trust my creative vision as much as I should.

I've been comparing myself to others, wondering if I should be doing things differently, creating self-doubt instead of leaning into what I love.

Comparison really is the death of creativity.

So I'm working on trusting myself more. Paying attention to what lights me up and letting that lead.

Does anyone else feel this way?
