Hey, it’s been awhile and definitely time for a little life update! I’ve spent the several months since my last post growing a human, nesting, mom-ing, and finding creativity outside of wedding photography.

Sonny joined our family in November and it’s been such a lovely slow and simultaneously busy season of life as we have become a family of four. Bowen is still over the moon with her baby brother and it’s so sweet to witness their relationship form.

We traveled to Costa Rica and hiked through rainforests, spotted lots of cool wildlife, and relaxed on gorgeous beaches.

I spent a lot of time watching Bowie’s creativity unfold through potion making and painting and I began to play with watercolors and clay again.

I joined my first book club, rediscovered my love of cooking, and am just beginning to feel strong again in my postpartum body thanks to Orange Theory. Plus, lots of baby wearing. Sonny adores a contact nap while I walk and hike.

I’m so very thankful for this job that allows me to take much needed time with my little ones. I love what I do for so many reasons and this part of having this career is so incredibly special.

There are many wonderful couples I have the pleasure of working with this upcoming summer + fall. I’m coming into this next season so creatively recharged and more excited than you could imagine ✨

Sharing a few more (mostly film) from Sam + Sean’s Oregon Coast micro wedding because I love them

I could shoot on the Oregon Coast forever and be happy. Currently trying to squeeze one more trip there before the end of the year so I can watch Bowen and Murphy frolic in the sand dunes, harvest wild mussels for garlicky linguine, and watch the sun set in the sea.

The calm, the vision finally coming to together, the sweet moments of awe and tears from friends, each detail so thoughtfully included. It’s magic to be witness to.

It’s still hard to believe that we are becoming a family of four. Especially during a summer full of chasing around a toddler with an endlessly entertaining and hilarious personality (gosh I adore her).

But baby boy makes himself known with fierce kicks and punches. I don’t remember Bowie moving nearly this much. Feeling him throughout the day (and night) is my favorite part of being pregnant.

I didn’t have maternity photos taken the first time and it felt important to document this time more than ever. So very grateful to for taking my vision of motherhood photos captured entirely on film and creating this magic. Thank you a million.
