All moms are with out a doubt extraordinary, but do you remember being a first time mom? Filled with so many questions, worries & “what if’s”; wondering “can I do this?” “Do I have everything I need?” “Am I doing this right?” “What if I’m not enough?” “What if I fail this baby?”. The crazy rush of feelings & emotions that consume your brain, that leave you overwhelmed. Then as soon as you hold that baby in your arms for the first time, your mind goes radio silent. There’s this calm that comes over you and all the sudden you realize “I was made for this, this baby is my everything”. That moment that changes everything…

In honor of my sweet friend having her first baby & rocking motherhood already… Shyann, I am in awe of you. You are a force of nature. You are a superhero. Your sweet little girl is lucky to have you! Welcome to the one of the most beautiful eras of life & what an honor it has been to just be a spectator to your growth 🫶🏽

Here's a little update for y'all!

I have the below dates still available for booking before I take a few months off to welcome our baby girl!

- Feb. 27th
- March 2nd
- March 6th
- March 7th
- March 8th
- March 9th
- March 13th
- March 16th

I am also contemplating offering mini sessions the weekend of March 28th. Thinking an outdoor picnic set up (if weather is permitting; inspo pic below) and if I'm lucky I might be able to throw in some baby chicks and/or a baby goat or two! Who would be interested ?!

Hi friends! 💛

As we head into 2026, I wanted to share my heart and plans for this year with you all! It's going to be a busy year so please bare with me!

- The month of February: I’ll be posting past sessions that I haven’t shared yet—so get ready for lots of memories!

- Personal update: I’m pregnant with our sweet baby girl and she’s due in April! Because of this, I’ll be taking a break from sessions after March 15 and will return in early August.

- Moving forward, I’ll now be offering hour-long sessions ONLY for $400. This allows me to give you the best experience and most intentional work possible.

- I’ll also be planning 2–3 mini sessions this year! I’m thinking about early Easter minis before my break—let me know what you’d love to see!

I currently have 3 sessions in the queue to finish, that I will hopefully have done by this Sunday (02/08)!

Thank you for supporting my small business, cheering me on, and trusting me with your memories. I’m so grateful for each of you and can’t wait for what this year holds. 💕

As 2025 has come to a close, I’m reflecting on just how much this season taught me—both behind the camera and beyond it. This year pushed me creatively, stretched me personally, and reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. I captured milestones, quiet moments, real emotions, and stories I’ll forever be grateful to have been trusted with.
There were long days, late edits, learning curves, and moments of doubt—but also growth, creativity, and so much gratitude. Every session, every client, every connection played a part in shaping this year.

Heading into the new year, my resolutions are clear:
📸 Create with more intention and less pressure
📸 Stay inspired and keep learning
📸 Be present during sessions, not just productive
📸 Protect my time and creative energy
📸 Continue telling honest, meaningful stories
📸 Keep my socials up to date with current work

Thank you to everyone who supported my work, trusted me with your memories, and cheered me on this year. Here’s to a new year of creativity, connection, and capturing moments that matter!

Hi, life update!

Yes, I have been busy beyond belief!
Yes, I am still actively shooting session!
Yes, I suck at keeping up with my social media (or technology in general)
Yes, I have moved to Zuni, VA (temporarily!)
Yes, I still travel back to Perquimans (& surrounding areas) to shoot!

I have spoken with so many of you in regards to holiday mini’s, I didn’t think I would have the time (or energy), but now I am highly contemplating designating a Saturday or Sunday to hold some minis!
