Before I was spoiled enough to have my own studio, I made do with what I had. This was taken in the dining room of my first house, so small we had to take the table out so there was room to stand by the sideboard that Amelia was lying on! Do what it takes to get the shot… right?!

Honored to do this shoot for my oldest friend and his baby girl. It was almost 20 years ago he started to teach me about photography… who knows where I’d be without that encouragement. This is one of my favorite pictures I’ve taken in the studio

After my son took my picture last week, my 6 year old daughter wanted a shot behind the lens! She styled me and directed the whole thing. 😎 it’s always so much fun seeing how children direct their creative energy!

So proud of my little girl. Despite being in a cast with a broken femur, she’s adapted quickly and found ways to keep being her smart, creative and funny self! Just one more week till it comes off!
