When it’s 105 degrees outside, step one is refusing to step foot out the front door, and step two is hiding right in the house to edit images! 🥵❄️
​I decided to play around with a double exposure using two of my favorite frames: a rushing waterfall overlaid with my granddaughter’s eye. It’s pretty amazing how blending a cool mountain stream with a sweet glance can instantly lower the temperature—at least in my mind!
​Staying cool, staying creative, and letting the air conditioning do its magic .

​It’s officially Hot Air Affair weekend here in Anderson! Over 40 hot air balloons are filling the Upstate sky through Sunday, September 6th, hosted at the Anderson Civic Center field.

Out in Toccoa, Georgia, the sky was showing —deep blue, soft puffy clouds, and dead-calm water reflecting it all.
​I love how the old broken bridge still stands out there so quietly. It’s a nice little reminder that something doesn't have to be whole or perfect to still be beautiful. 🌤️🌿

When you capture a moment that makes your husband immediately put his head in his hands, you know you’ve hit gold.
​I’m thrilled (and quietly laughing) to share that that photo of Dane—the exact one that utterly mortified him and made him want to melt into the floorboards—has been selected to grace the pages of Lipstik Magazine!
​To be fair, I literally had to beg him to let me take it, He was convinced it was purely for the "just for funzies folder," but no way was i letting this gold be hidden away , —even if it almost cost me my marital bargaining chips.
​A huge, heartfelt thank you to Lipstikmagazine for recognizing the magic in this frame and giving it a home in print. And an even bigger thank you to my incredible husband, Dane. Honey, thank you for loving me enough to tolerate my camera constantly in your face, for putting up with me making you do awkward things and for ultimately trusting my eye over your own embarrassment. You’re a star, even when you’re trying to hide from the lens!

I'm just going to let the cat out if the bag... today

Im just so in shock and I'm actually pinching myself to see if is just a dream !
