I always wanted to grow up and become a photographer and I'm making my way to becoming the photographer I've always wanted to become! I worked in a studio for 2 years as an Assistant Manager and after that didn't have the money to buy the camera I wanted, so waited a few years until after my husband and I got married and my camera was the first thing we invested in the day after the wedding! Here is just a few things to keep in mind when preparing for your family photos...
* When scheduling a time, choose a time and day that considers your family's schedule and habits. With any young children, be sure to schedule around nap time and mealtimes.
* Have on hand a few snacks in the event we need to take a small break for your little ones
* Be sure to try on any selected outfits a day or two before the session.
*Coordinate colors, don't match.
*Keep it simple. Avoid large, bold patterns and bright colors that draw attention away from you face.
* Darker clothing is slimming. Light tones tend to emphasize body size in photos.
*Keep clothing consistent. Dress everyone in the same style for each part of your portrait session.
* The most important thing to remember is...Have fun! Be yourself and allow your kids to be themselves! As a photographer, I am here to please you!
