whenever people hear that i’m a wedding photographer, the first question they ask me is about all the drama i must encounter, or how many “bridezillas” i deal with. my answer, genuinely? i never have anything to tell them. i don’t work with people i don’t vibe with, simple as that.
i mean, sure i’ve done plenty of work for other photographers so over the years and ~100 weddings under my belt, obviously i have some stories to tell.
but every year i try to limit my own clients to 10 wedding bookings so that i can really focus on each couple (sometimes i can be persuaded for one or two more if you’re like, really cool) and every year i’m blown away at how i always seem to end up with the absolute coolest, most down to earth clients. it’s such a privilege to get to know people, chat with their families at dinner, and be able to witness how two people can be SO meant for each other.
i’ve cried at more weddings than i can count, i’ve kept little mementos from most of them, and i’ve ignored all the rules about not getting too close to your clients. i’ve become good friends with a handful of them, invited them to birthday parties, and wouldn’t change it for the world.
so no, i actually don’t have any stories about my couples being anything other than a lot of fun. every weekend i look forward to my job, even when the work side of it feels hard, and that’s all because of you guys.

hey hey hey… after a several month long hiatus from actually posting anything (like, ANYTHING from my 2025 wedding season) i wanted to make a bit of a comeback post, but didn’t know how to do that without explaining the time away.
so i’ve been here, still shooting and editing my lil heart out, trying to make a living on this passion project turned business of mine, and honestly just feeling very burnt out specifically over the standards that the internet seems to push on people in the wedding industry, or photographers in general. or really anyone, i’m sure.
i love instagram tbh. i’m always on it. but it also terrifies me, because i open up an app to thousands of people whose work i compare myself to and get so in my head about what are the “right”

it’s been a minute since i’ve posted on here, which is partially to do with the fact that it feels like a fever dream living through historic event after historic event while still trying to be like “heyyy let me take pretty pictures of you!”

but i’m going to put aside my feelings about instagram right now to jump on here and remind everyone that there should be no room for hate in this country, ESPECIALLY from people in the wedding industry.

if you’re not “comfortable” celebrating love in all forms, but are fine with profiting off of it, it might be time for you to get the f**k out of this industry.

oh hey, it’s my birthday!

eternally grateful for everyone who’s been along for the ride, whether you’re an OG or a newbie to following me and my lil passion project of a small business. i’ve had more support than i could have ever dreamed in my first year as a full time photographer. i’ve met some of the most incredible people, had some of my greatest successes, made some mistakes, experienced some of the best days of my life, and made my way through a healthy serving of juuust about everything else in between.
2025 taught me that life is better with good people in your corner, so if you’re still reading this, i just wanted to say thanks a bunch for being here 🖤
