Story about the image 📝…

I went up to Picture Lake for sunrise to try and re-create an image that I took a couple years ago around this time of year also at sunrise of this exact location. I sat there taking image after image hoping for “the shot” that would look like the other, but then I took this one and I realized in that moment that this imagine doesn’t have to be like anything else—its beauty is in its difference. It looks completely different than the other one, but it’s beautiful in its own way and I was okay with that. It was a good reminder that things don’t always have to be re-created to be beautiful.
