Madonna on a bus, New York, 1979🍒 photographed by Dan Gilroy, who was her boyfriend at the time.~This was around the time of her first film she made was "A Certain Sacrifice," an independent film she shot in 1979 before she became famous. The film wasn't released until 1985, after she had already risen to stardom. Her first major Hollywood film was "Desperately Seeking Susan" in 1985, which helped establish her as a film actress.

The year was 1984. Grace Jones was shooting Roger Moore's last James Bond movie A View to a Kill in the nearby studio at Pinewood, while Tim Curry was filming Legend..
Jones would often spend time with Curry as he underwent the lengthy process of having prosthetic makeup applied for his character, Darkness.
Curry's makeup routine lasted up to six hours, providing ample time for the two to chat and even take amusing Polaroid photos together throughout the day.
