I'm constantly in awe of the beauty that the PNW has to offer. Mountains, trees, trails, lakes, and beaches...it just doesn't get much better. I would say that this location is high on my list of favorites.

As my own kids move into their teen years, I'm reminded of just how important it is to continue to take photos. I have thousands of photos of my kids when they were little because I was so much a part of what they were doing throughout the day. It was easy to snap photos almost daily. As they have gotten older, there are less photo opportunities. Their independence has created limits for my ability to capture them in this stage of life. Family photos are almost more important now than ever before.

It's hard to believe that it's already mid-March. Warm summer evenings will be here before we know it!
It's hard to beat a location as epic as Mt. Baker, but if you don't feel like your family can make the trek, no worries! When you book a session with me, I have a location guide full of places I have carefully scouted to find the most beautiful light for your photos. And remember, the most important subject of your photos is you and your loved ones. The location is secondary. 🙂
