you don’t need a venue, a setup, or a packed timeline to have an incredible Oregon Coast elopement.
sometimes it just looks like this

and when you pair that with some damn good food, some happy tears, and maybe a dog or two?

the last two months have felt like a hurricane of goodness (although if you’d asked us like a month ago how we felt, the answer would have been very different lol).

two weeks before Thanksgiving we added a new family member to our home and he’s the cutest little nugget we could have asked for. twig, our field golden retriever, was 8 weeks old when we brought him home and holy s**t you guys….

you couldn’t have reminded me how hard it is to have a puppy? lol one of you described it as having a newborn with rabies and that pretty much sums it up.

but it’s been two of the most rewarding months we’ve had in a long time. so December was filled with lots of cozy meals and pjs and taking naps between delivering the very last galleries and films of the season (just 4 more films to go!).

Alright, y’all voted on my story the other day and I’m here to deliver! Secret fern meadow hand fasting for their Olympic National Park elopement, complete with a beach cabin tucked away on a coastal cliffside, salmon berry snackin’, and all of the driftwood your heart could possibly need.

Allison + John met in film school nearly two decades ago and after what ends up being most of their lives together, they decided it was finally time.

A day full of torrential downpours, hail, and some bits of sunshine, tourists serenading us on the beach with Celine Dion and Justin Bieber as we all hid from the hail behind the rocks.

A day of talks of Criterion collections, of the East Coast, of old college memories, of golden eagles and fairy tale mossy forests.
