I’m shutting down this thread since no one can produce any post that I bullied any photography business. If a post about having to be registered and paying sales tax is bulling then so be it… I just can’t with this anymore. If I got upset about everyone’s posting I would never leave the house.

I want to directly address the rumors circulating: I have never, nor will I ever, bully anyone or any business. My family has called Bellevue home for nearly 29 years, and all three of my children attended Bellevue schools. In the past , I have served on the Chamber board, including a term as Chamber director, dedicating countless unpaid hours to support tourism and help bring new businesses to Bellevue.

I started my photography business over 15 years ago, offering sessions for just $25 at the beginning, and I have worked hard to build and sustain my business in this small town. I want to make it clear that at no point have I bullied another photographer. Two years ago, I made a post regarding the importance of being a registered local business and paying sales tax in response to new State of Iowa regulations affecting the photography industry. If any photographer took that post personally, I apologize, as my intent was to address all photographers collectively, not target any individual.

I understand that I may not be everyone's preference, but the accusation of being a bully stops here. Many may not realize how much I have given to our schools or how often I have helped parents ensure their children have what they need, even when payment was delayed. I have contributed a great deal to this town—more than most will ever know. I hope you consider the source of the rumors or better yet ask me yourself I have nothing to hide and I am very transparent.
