Each love story follows its own path. We may dream of finding a partner who would treat us like the main character in our favorite romantic novel, but real love stories are just as special and unique. We experience moments filled with love, pleasure, and happiness, which become memories we want to relive again. My job is to help you capture your love story. Together, we’ll scout for the best scene

ry and locations that would serve as a perfect backdrop for your special day, be it in Seattle, Washington or worldwide.

Still feels surreal to say this

One of my photographs has been selected as a Junebug Weddings Best of the Best Destination Wedding Photo winner!!!!

Having one image included in Junebug’s Best of the Best collection felt like a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Being recognized again, this time in the destination wedding category, feels incredibly special and is an honor I don’t take lightly!

A huge thank you to Junebug Weddings for this incredible recognition, and to the judges who took the time to review so many talented submissions from photographers around the world. I can only imagine how difficult that task must have been, and I am deeply grateful that this image resonated with you 𝑵𝒊𝒏𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒌 𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 Colorado Elopement Photographers Manuel Aldana / Antigua Guatemala Wedding Photographer

And of course, thank you to M & J for trusting Pasha and me to be a part of your day at Mt. Baker. Being invited into moments like these is something I never take for granted, and this image would not exist without your trust, adventurous spirit, and love for each other.

To all of my couples, friends, family, and fellow photographers who have supported me throughout this journey, thank you. Your encouragement means the world!

Feeling incredibly grateful today 🙏🏻

After photographing so many elopements, I still don’t get tired of Olympic National Park.

Not because of the beaches.
Not because of the rainforest.
Not even because every corner looks like it belongs in a movie.

I love it because it slows people down.
Cell service disappears. The to-do list disappears. The pressure disappears.

And for one day, it’s just two people exploring one of the most beautiful places in Washington together.
That’s what this day felt like.

Confession: I usually don’t go too crazy with black-and-white photos, but this cowboy photoshoot in Utah basically looked at me and said, “Trust me” :)))

So here we are. A little black&white experiment featuring horses, cowboy vibes, and way more main-character energy than should be legally allowed :)))

Hope you like this one as much as I do 😊

And a HUGE thank you to for hosting us and for all the incredible support during the shoot. You guys are amazing! ❤️

Now I’m curious: for a session like this, are you Team Color or Team Black & White?

I seriously love when my couples come back again and again for new adventures together ❤️

A couple years ago I photographed these two (and their sweet doggies) on the Olympic National Park coast. Last year we traded the ocean for a more foresty vibe and explored Snoqualmie Valley together. This time no pups, just the two of them wandering around the mountains with me again 🥹

It honestly means so much when people trust me to keep documenting their lives through different seasons and years.

If you’ve been dreaming about a fall elopement in the mountains… this is your sign that it’s still not too late to plan one in Washington this year!!! ❤️

R & S flew all the way from Texas to get married in the North Cascades, surrounded by golden fall colors, stunning mountain views, and crisp autumn air :)

Back on their very first date, R ordered a Sprite and S got a Fanta. Somewhere along the way it became “their thing,” so during their elopement they poured both drinks into each other’s glasses as a little symbol of commitment and blending their lives together 😻

They also brought their favorite board game and spent part of their wedding day playing together in the mountains, laughing the entire time.

And THEN they surprised each other with gifts after the ceremony. R gave S a signed Captain America poster from his favorite movie, signed by Chris Evans himself.

This is exactly why I love elopements so much. No rules. No pressure. Just a day filled with things that actually matter to you!

Who said your elopement has to be deep in the wilderness, miles away from everything?

S & A wanted something beautiful, but close to Seattle… so I sent them straight to Snoqualmie Valley, basically our backyard).

We started with a picnic by the lake, then took a paddleboard out for a bit, which ended with both of them in the water 😄

For sunset we hiked up into the mountains above the valley and finished the day with the softest golden light and those wide open views.

Proof that it’s not about going far, it’s about finding your place!

They didn’t run away to elope, they brought their favorite people with them. Just a small circle of family and friends, standing together in one of the dreamiest corners of Olympic National Park.

No chaos, no strict timelines, no 100+ guest list… just hugs, happy tears, and that quiet kind of joy that stays with you long after the day is over.

We wandered through the forest, chased waterfalls, found the softest light, and listened to the waves. Nothing rushed, nothing forced.

This is what I love about elopements, you still get to have your people there, just in a way that actually feels like you.

If you’ve been thinking “something small, but not just us”… this is your reminder that you can have both!

They didn’t want a big wedding.
Just the two of them, somewhere quiet.

So they rented a cabin in the San Juan Islands with a private hidden beach.
They said their vows with the sound of the ocean, no one else around.

After, they stayed… had a picnic right there on the beach, opened letters from family and friends, and read them out loud. That part got really emotional.

And then, at the very end, they got on their bikes, with a little “just married” sign, and rode off together.
Simple, quiet, and somehow everything ❤️

Imagine thinking you’re just going on a trip across the country…

and suddenly you’re engaged AND your friends (who secretly flew in on another flight) jump out of nowhere 😄

Meanwhile M has been planning this whole thing behind the scenes (with a little help from us, of course :), the location, the timing, even where everyone would hide…

She said yes ❤️ … and then everything happened at once

First rainforest elopement of the season ☺️

T & L flew all the way from Texas for their spring elopement in Olympic National Park… and the weather really said “welcome to Washington” 😄

Within 30 minutes we had rain, sunshine, and even a little hail. And honestly, none of it mattered. We just kept going and celebrating their day as it came.

The cutest moment was when their son (with a little help from Pasha) did the handfasting ceremony 🥹 he took his job very seriously and absolutely nailed it.

And we ended the day with a little bonfire and marshmallows… for the kids and for adults too obviously 😄
