Olivia and her Momma were the biggest joy to work with. Both with the biggest smile on her face the entire evening. Exploring beautiful spaces with beautiful people is the best thing ever! I hope you love these as much as I do! My Class of 2027 just keeps raising the bar with evening session.

How do you choose just one? Or ten or twenty? Caroline loves the camera, 📸 this is not my first with the is little one. She was probably 7 years old or so when I first took her photo. So senior year feels very surreal!!! 🥰 I can still hear her giggling 🤣while working on these and this is just session #1 more to come from this special one! Stacy Fritz Ross girl you need a few more kiddos I don’t want to be done with the Ross kids!

Abbey, who I am blessed to know by being her teacher, is exactly the kind of girl I want all my clients to be, THEMSELVES!! Her session was full of weather conditions but we managed to be amazed by what we were able to capture! We hoped for a sunset ,🌅 but who needs that when this girl shines 🤩all on her own. Brynn ~ Class of 2027🎓

Rain and Heat may have been thrown at us but the outcome from this amazing young ladies session you would never know it. We may have had a few obstacles weather wise but honestly, with all my heart, it added to her session. We were able to catch all my favorite lighting opportunities while working together. I have been anxiously waiting for about 3 years to photograph Brynn and the wait was 100% worth it! If you notice a pattern? Its her relaxed ready to have fun style. NO matter what I asked of her she was GAME ON! I can't explain how well she takes direction! Even the most beautiful walk you can muster!! LOL .......I CANNOT WAIT to photograph her again!

Always helps when the bestie Vivian comes along to get all the giggles going too!

Life has a funny way of coming at you. I have been watching this beauty grow 🌸 and blossom for years... I even got to be her teacher this past school year. She is just light and joy. That is the best way to describe her. So when the weather decided to bring grey clouds and 🌧️ rain to start her session I was less than excited. I even said out loud "we may not get this in today." Which I love a challenge so that is unusual. But wouldn't you know the sky agreed and it cleared up ! ☀️ We had a blast fluttering around getting all the goodness out of the evening!

Capturing this night means a lot to me personally. I love the ceremonial importance but more important I love the chapter that is ending but more excited for all of them for the chapter they are beginning. As a senior photographer I get to see the start to their year, the excitement and uncertainty for what is coming after graduation. But graduation night it all comes together. These lovely beautiful people had the honor of celebrating their high school years with Prom 2026 MHS Masquerade. Congrats to the Prom Court as well as the King and Queen. Lots of fun was witnessed. I was happy to have the opportunity to capture some moments of the evening.

I’m so proud and happy for these amazingly talented individuals!! The joy I had capturing their performance in photos does not come close to the joy I felt when hearing these nominations! More and more to come for all these amazing young people!

The arts........... is something near and dear to my heart, visual arts or performing arts it doesn't matter, the talent that these kids have is almost hard to comprehend. Mascoutah School District 19 High School has some very dedicated and talented students. They are led by very dedicated and talented adults! If you have the need for some amazing entertainment this weekend "Les Misearable" is playing at the MHS auditorium Fri, Sat 7pm and Sun at 2pm. I was blessed to capture their dress rehearsal. Please enjoy the peek into the largest cast, and longest show ever produced at MHS. This is a professional level show with effects and costuming not ever typical in a school setting. I can't say enough about this show. Thank you for bringing something this professional to City of Mascoutah, Illinois. Good Luck to the entire cast and crew this weekend. Tickets available online.
