Every family has a beginning, and getting to photograph the "prologue" is such a gift!
I’ve always loved maternity sessions, but there’s a specific kind of magic that comes with a first pregnancy. It’s that beautiful, nervous, wonderful wait for your first tiny human to arrive. Huge thank you to this amazing couple for letting me capture their story. Even bigger thank you for being my first session here in Illinois. This little one is already so lucky to have you!

Someone please explain how my niece is graduating high school this year, because I’m over here pretending time hasn’t passed. 😩💛
While we were in Cali, I had the absolute joy of photographing her and honestly, the laughter and goofy moments behind the scenes mean just as much as the photos themselves.
I’ll remember those forever… even if she’s convinced she’s a grown-up now.
