Coffee & Connections is a free networking event designed to bring together local business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and community members for meaningful conversations and new opportunities.

One of my favorite things about branding photography is helping small business owners show up confidently online. ✨

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Kate, founder of Hue & Edit. Kate is a personal stylist and color analyst who helps clients build wardrobes they love through personalized styling, color analysis, and closet editing services. 🌈

For her branding session, we created a variety of images she can use across her website, social media, and marketing materials to help tell the story of her business and connect with potential clients. 📲

Jon & Bianca's French Quarter Proposal Session went perfectly! 💍

When Jon reached out to me about proposing to his girlfriend during their trip to New Orleans, I was immediately excited to help bring his vision to life. Traveling all the way from New Jersey, he planned the perfect surprise in the heart of the French Quarter.

With the iconic St. Louis Cathedral as the backdrop, Jon got down on one knee and asked Bianca to spend forever with him. After she said "yes," we wandered through the French Quarter, capturing the excitement of their newly engaged season with the beautiful, classic charm of the French Quarter as our backdrop. Of course, no visit is complete without ending the celebration with beignets!

Jon & Bianca, thank you for trusting me to document such an unforgettable moment. Congratulations on your engagement! ❤️

I’ve been booking so many weddings for 2026 and 2027, and it makes me incredibly happy to see this part of my business continue to grow. 📸

Weddings, elopements, and micro weddings are where my heart is right now, and I’m so excited for this next chapter. There’s something really special about documenting one of the most important days in a couple’s life and creating memories they’ll look back on for years to come. 💍

A quick update regarding our Youth Headshot Events 📸

First, I want to thank everyone who has participated in our recent youth headshot events in partnership with the Plaquemines Parish Recreation Department. It has been such a pleasure helping local teens and young adults obtain professional headshots for employment opportunities, college applications, scholarships, and personal branding.

Due to the number of no-shows across our first two events, we will be implementing a refundable retainer fee for all future youth headshot sessions.

Unfortunately, many reserved appointments went unused, which prevented other members of our community from taking advantage of these free opportunities.

This retainer will be due at booking, refunded upon attendance, and is simply intended to encourage commitment to scheduled appointment times.

Our goal is to continue offering these valuable events to the community, and this change will help ensure that available spots are utilized by those who truly need them. We plan to offer another Belle Chasse date in July, so please stay tuned!

Skylar Fontaine Photography LLC is teaming up with Plaquemines Parish Recreation Department through their new Youth Workforce Development Program to bring these professional headshot events to our community!

Each attendee will receive one high-resolution, professionally retouched headshot, compliments of Plaquemines Parish Recreation Department. Attendees must be ages 14–21 and residents of Plaquemines Parish to qualify. No other requirements necessary.

Every young person needs a strong, confident headshot. This is your chance to set yourself up for success! These images can be used for:
• Job applications
• College applications and scholarships
• Internships and workforce programs
• LinkedIn profiles and personal branding
• School organizations and leadership roles
