There was lots of love in the air for this beautiful couple's engagement session. Isabella and Tarren chose the romantic lights of the family Christmas tree and downtown Traverse City. The weather was chilly, but these two kept warm snuggled in with each other.

To say it's been beautiful in northern Michigan is an understatement. Natalie, a Freeland High School senior, her mom and aunt made the drive up to me in Bellaire for Natalie's senior session. There was rain in the morning, and rain expected that evening, but we found a few hours late afternoon that was just perfect. Natalie has such a fun style and was a joy in front of the camera. Thank you, Bauman family, for making the drive!

What an incredibly beautiful day, this amazing couple had at Tahquamenon Falls! LeeAnn contacted me this summer to see if maybe I would be interested in driving up to the falls to photograph her wedding. Having known this wonderful lady for several years, and having had the opportunity to photograph her three kids senior photos, I jumped at the chance. The surroundings and fall colors were gorgeous and the love was flowing. Thank you LeeAnn and Jim for allowing me to photograph your day and take way too many photos of you all!

I've had the pleasure of past clients visiting me, from different parts of the state to capture, their precious memories, here in the north country. Anna Maria has been visiting us here since she was a baby, so it made perfect sense. Anna and Steven had the most quintessential late summer, on golden pond evening. They soaked in every moment as I took several shots at a distance. Looking forward to their wedding next year!

I love getting the chance to be my family's photographer. These little guys are my absolute favorite to be creative with. Teddy just celebrated his 3rd birthday. He is in love with anything car, truck or motor related! It seemed fitting to incorporate that into his birthday shoot. Dougie got to be in a few too, which was so precious.

It sure felt great to be back behind the camera again, on a beautiful summer evening, for this beauty! Ruby is feminine and tough! She loves animals, hunting, and nail art and was an absolute natural in front of the camera. Ruby's mom, Stacy, grew all the flowers we used for the shoot. Thank you Cole family for allowing me to capture Ruby's senior year memories!

It is with honor to announce Landon Zastrow as one of Hemlock High School’s Top Honors students. He is the son of Leon and Noreen Zastrow. During his time at Hemlock High School, Landon has demonstrated unparalleled dedication, athleticism, and leadership. He has earned 17 different varsity letters and pins, showcasing his commitment to excellence in multiple sports. He has been an active member of both the Student Council and the National Honor Society, demonstrating his leadership and academic achievements.
Landon has earned All-State recognition in Football, and he has been a 4-time District Champion and 4-time State Qualifier in Wrestling. His impressive achievements in both sports have earned him 4 school records, highlighting his exceptional talent and hard work.
Looking ahead, Landon will attend Ohio Northern University to major in Exercise Science. He is committed to play Football for Ohio Northern University, in the fall, a monumental step forward in both his athletic and academic careers.

We congratulate Landon on his remarkable achievements and look forward to all that he will accomplish in the next chapter of his journey!
