Jay doesn’t mess around…
With the 31” of snow last Friday/Saturday he had to throw the in the rig for us to get some wiggles to cap off the day.
It’s been a bucket list thing for me to ride one, and I’d did not disappoint.
Jay gave me and on lookers the lowdown, folded his ear flaps down, and went fourth into the deep 🏄🏻‍♂️

I said goodbye to a man yesterday.

As some of you may know, my Dad, Wade, has been fighting COPD for many many years.
Most of my memories of my Dad when I was a child are with him having cigarette in hand.
He quit a long time ago, and always regretted not doing it sooner.

The last few years really caught up to him. Last year the Hospital stays increased and his need for care got became greater.
In July, he went into Hospice program.

His biggest fear was dying alone.

He took a turn a week ago, and we knew his passing was close at hand.
As I was sitting with him yesterday I noticed a new pattern in his breathing. And had a feeling, a gut feeling.
My Mom helped me check his mouth and we cleared his airway. As she left for a few moments I stayed with him and just let him know I was there, and that I Loved him, and was proud of him. And not to be afraid. He opened an eye, took a few breaths, and as I held him close, he slipped away.

For the moment I am at Peace. Feelings fleet, and I’m sure it will all catch up to me the weight of this.

I will miss my Dad.

Greetings

It’s been a long time since I have posted a photo, much less been on Instagram. I think about it sometimes. But for the most part I haven’t felt like it. In fact I almost deleted this account when I did away with my personal account. And perhaps I may still do that.

This past February I sustained an injury at work that has left me stuck at home, and not able to do much.
I don’t sleep to well, I can’t bear weight and mobility is slowing improving. It’s hard.
It’s also hard not being able to snowboard or fish. Those two things are huge passions and overall help keep my mental game strong.
With hard work, and lots of time.. I hope to be able to wield a fly rod again and feel it bend.

Lived here my whole life.. and the Four generations before me, and we have always wondered when it happen.
Great response all around from everyone involved. At least 5-10 planes and 5 heli's with buckets. I'm glad so many people have have ponds on there property along the backside of Bridger that we can scoop some water from.
