What a beautiful day to close out the season.
I am so grateful we were blessed with the best weather for Maggie and Kyle’s day - quite literally one of the last nice days before Montana’s snowfall. It was the most perfect intimate gathering and I am just so lucky to have been included 🤍

So much has been happening behind the scenes lately and it’s forced me to focus much of my energy into a new and beautiful season of life. Social accounts have not been a priority. Instead, real life has been the priority. This time away has created a shift in myself. I’ve grown so much in my relationship with Christ and I’ve been allowed to feel the full weight of losses, joys, and everything in between—without the major distraction of social media—and it’s been sobering. Social media has a funny way of numbing you to real life. It’s easy to feel like you don’t measure up when you’re perpetually fixated on everyone’s curated highlight reel. And don’t get me wrong—I am grateful for relationships I’ve made here and for the accounts that share the raw and real, but sometimes stepping away from these platforms is the reset we don’t realize we need—to be reminded that life beyond these tiny squares is so much better. Not everything needs to be shared. Not everyone is worthy of knowing the most intimate details of our lives. Privacy is sacred and we should protect it.

And even though much of my job is focused on sharing people’s stories through beautiful imagery, I can’t promise I’ll be better about staying constantly connected to this app…Because staying constantly connected to real people in real life just hits different 🤍
