Any last minute entries need to be submitted before midnight!
It’s late, and I know this post may not reach as many people right away, so if you see it, please share it and tag a NICU parent, NICU nurse, or anyone who works in a NICU. ❤️
September is NICU Awareness Month, and this month holds a very special place in my heart because both of my babies are NICU babies.
NICU parents are some of the strongest people you will ever meet. They somehow find the strength to divide their time between a baby in the hospital, children waiting at home, work, family, and all of the everyday responsibilities that don’t simply stop because your world has been turned upside down.
And through all of it, they keep going.
Then there are the NICU nurses. The people who care for our babies when we physically can’t be there. The people who hold them, feed them, comfort them, clean them, advocate for them, and celebrate every little milestone alongside us.
While they are loving and caring for our babies, they are missing time with their own families at home. They give so much of themselves to complete strangers, and somehow manage to make those strangers feel like family.
NICU nurses truly are a different kind of incredible. There is something so special about trusting someone with your child and watching them love and care for that baby as if they were their own. I will forever be grateful for the nurses who cared for my babies and helped carry us through some of the hardest days of our lives. ❤️
So, back to the reason for this post…
I want to celebrate YOU. 🩷
If you are a NICU parent, a NICU nurse, or someone who works in a NICU, I would love to offer you a special mini session in honor of NICU Awareness Month.
I will be randomly choosing 3 families and/or NICU nurses to receive a FREE MINI SESSION! 🎉
Everyone else who enters will have the opportunity to book a NICU Awareness mini session for only $20. These sessions will be available throughout the entire month of September.
To enter:
📸 NICU PARENT: Drop a photo of your NICU baby in the comments and share a little bit about your journey. Tell me about your little fighter and what your NICU experience meant to you.
🩺 NICU NURSE: Tag a favorite NICU nurse and tell me what made them so special to you and your family.
And if you know a NICU parent, nurse, or NICU worker who deserves to see this, please tag them and share this post. You never know who might need to hear that their strength, their story, and the people who helped them through it matter. ❤️
The giveaway portion will close August 31st, but the $20 NICU Awareness minis will remain available throughout September.
To every NICU parent currently sitting beside an incubator, every parent who has ever had to leave their baby at the hospital, and every nurse who has held a tiny hand through the night:
I see you. I honor you. And I am forever grateful for the strength and love you carry. 🩷
