The April 2027 calendar photo is from the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.

Every year, each field has a different variety of tulip, so it never gets boring. These yellow tulips really caught my eye. Especially these two in the foreground. I love the delicate yellow paired with the red in the tulip and the field of red tulips in the background. The green of the stems and leaves adds a nice contrast and leads your eye around the photograph.

As you all know, I love photographing the Tulip Festival. This little yellow and red guy came up in the middle of the red rows. Is it left over from last year??
