Maternity sessions hold such a special place in my heart.
Maybe it’s because I’ve had the privilege of experiencing this season of motherhood myself—the kind of love that feels almost impossible to put into words. Just you, the baby you’re carrying, and the person you love most in this world beside you, as the two of you become a family in an entirely new way.
There’s something sacred about documenting these moments. The quiet touches. The soft breaths. The way a hand instinctively finds a belly. The anticipation of meeting the little life you’ve created together.
When I’m editing these sessions, I often find myself holding my breath for a moment, completely captivated by the beauty of it all. Because these photographs aren’t just documenting a pregnancy they’re preserving the beginning of a life you could never imagine living without.
