“I love the idea… but my house is a mess.”

Here’s the thing —
this season of life was never meant to look perfect.

I heard it was National Daughters Day today💕

I’ve never known a love like this. The most beautiful, messy, chaotic, overwhelming, joyful, kind of love. But don’t let shiny social media fool you - these two test my patience 90% of the time and there are days, weeks even when I feel constantly overstimulated. But then they’ll randomly walk up and hug me and give me a kiss, tell me they love me, and in that moment it’s all worth it……

……and then they go back to making me want to rip my hair out 🫠🙃

Not only was I behind on announcing my annual fall minis, I was also slacking on getting our own family photos on the calendar 🤦🏻‍♀️ BUT, I am happy to say they are officially scheduled!

It’s been a year to say the least and not in a good way. But if it’s reminded me of anything, it’s that although the days are long, the years are incredibly short. I always try to get updated family photos once a year, and this year, they mean so much more.

Hug your fur babies, call your loved ones and tell them how much they mean to you, let go of that grudge, tell a stranger you love their outfit, and prioritize preserving your NOW, because tomorrow, they’ll be memories.

I’ve never met someone with a more infectious smile, and if you’ve met Jaycee, you know exactly what I mean. She’s a beautiful soul inside and out, who found her match in the equally wonderful Dominick. I feel so incredibly lucky that I got to see the beginning of this new chapter for them from the best seat in the house 🥰 I just love you guys so much!! Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs 🥂
